Kundenmeinung: It was awful, we were told overbooked and to go to another hotel. They tried to reach us at home in Canada, but we were traveling. Shuttle at airport did not arrive until after 11, we were there around 10:25. Shuttle driver told us no charge, but in the morning we were charged for the shuttle. We were so tired we didn't argue, but we are not happy with the charge. Also upon arriving and being told they booked a room in another hotel for us, when they realized we needed to be at airport for 7:30 am they realized that hotel was to far away. We were then booked into IBIS, just down the road, but once we arrived it was discovered the date we were booked for was June 7-8, not May 27-28. So back to Dorint we went and waited while the reservation person was on a call. I explained about the IBIS booking not working out and was told the phone call was a cancellation and as a result we would have a room for the night. At this point it was after 1 and by the time we got to the room we did not sleep before 2 (as at that point we were overtired from the runaround since our arrival). We were awake by 5 and checking out around 6:30 am if not earlier. We were extremely disappointed with our treatment as it appeared even though we had a confirmed reservation with Expedia, something better came up for the hotel and they chose purposely not to honor our reservation and phoned with less than 24 hours notice (as confirmed by phone message left by Marcus on our home phone on May 27 at 9:10 am). We expect full refund for the room which we used for less than 6 hours and the shuttle. We also expect a response to our questionnaire.
